The Zombie Productivity Apocalypse
How to Survive and Thrive in a Post-Dead World
Imagine a world full of zombies. Nobody knows where they came from, but slowly and surely, they start invading every home on the planet. Their poison infects bystanders quickly. The infected are crippled by pretending to be productive but actually not getting anything done.
Far fetched? Possibly. But the zombie productivity apocalypse I’m referring to is not a new concept. You'll find self-named productivity gurus at every corner of the internet telling you to try x, y or even z without proof that it works. So why is productivity dwindling, and how can we prevent infection?
The Zombie Productivity Apocalypse
What is zombie productivity?
While this term doesn’t exist in the dictionary, zombie firms have been around for a while. They are companies that are stuck in their old ways. Unfortunately, their traditional mindset limits workers' effectiveness and productivity during work hours.
Essentially zombie productivity is a form of productivity without meaningful output. We need to work on doing high-value tasks instead focus on the unimportant ones. As a result, you’re so busy you never actually reach your goal.
